I have lived on the west side of Los Angeles for about 40 years. Chef Ming's Kitchen is among the best Chinese take outs I have tried in many years. ... My favorites this week are the Kung Pao Chicken and the Kung Pao beef. Last week it was Beef with Black bean sauce. ... Every friend I have recommended to them love it.

What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for with flavorful food. The Mongolian beef & the Mu Shoo chicken were very good.

One very sound Chinese restaurant I know that doesn't use M.S.G. is Chef Ming's. Chef Ming who was a great favorite of Mayor Ed Koch in New York at the Peking Duck restaurant.
